Meteorological Summary:
 
  • Scattered showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds are possible across the Peninsula.
  • Isolated showers and storms are possible in the Panhandle.
  • There is a moderate to high rip current risk for most Panhandle and most Atlantic beaches.
  • Nuisance to minor coastal flooding is possible along the tidal St. Johns basin, coastal Northeast Florida, and the Florida Keys.
  • A high wildfire threat continues for the Panhandle with a moderate threat for the rest of North Florida.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 13.43 feet, which is 1.57 feet below normal for this time of year.
