EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring

Meteorological Summary:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Peninsula today with isolated activity in the Panhandle.
A few strong storms cannot be ruled out in South Florida with gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall.
There is a moderate rip current risk for most Atlantic beaches.
The wildfire threat across the state is low.
Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 11.12 feet, which is 2.06 feet below normal for this time of year.
