Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report

EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring

Meteorological Summary:

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across much of the state.
There is a Marginal Risk of severe weather (level 1 of 5) across the Big Bend, Northeast Florida, and Central Florida.
Isolated cases of flash flooding are possible near the Suwannee River today.
There is a moderate rip current risk for eastern Panhandle and Big Bend beaches.
The wildfire threat remains low to moderate across the state.
Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 11.05 feet, which is 2.11 feet below normal for this time of year.
