Meteorological Summary:
- Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across much of the state.
- There is a Marginal Risk of severe weather (level 1 of 5) across the Big Bend, Northeast Florida, and Central Florida.
- Isolated cases of flash flooding are possible near the Suwannee River today.
- There is a moderate rip current risk for eastern Panhandle and Big Bend beaches.
- The wildfire threat remains low to moderate across the state.
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 11.05 feet, which is 2.11 feet below normal for this time of year.
