Meteorological Summary:
- The heavy rainfall threat continues across North Florida and spreads into Central Florida today.
- Flash Flood Watches are in effect for the Panhandle and Big Bend where localized totals of 3-6” are possible today.
- Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in North and Central Florida today.
- There is a high rip current risk for all Panhandle beaches today.
- The wildfire threat remains moderate
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 10.90 feet, which is 2.24 feet below normal for this time of year.
