EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring

Meteorological Summary:

The heavy rainfall threat continues across North Florida and spreads into Central Florida today.
Flash Flood Watches are in effect for the Panhandle and Big Bend where localized totals of 3-6” are possible today.
Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in North and Central Florida today.
There is a high rip current risk for all Panhandle beaches today.
The wildfire threat remains moderate
Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 10.90 feet, which is 2.24 feet below normal for this time of year.
