Meteorological Summary:
- Another mostly dry and hot day is expected across the state.
- Isolated showers and storms could develop in the western Panhandle and Southeast Florida/Keys this afternoon, but no severe weather is expected.
- Patchy fog may develop once again overnight across portions of North Florida.
- Breezy onshore winds during the afternoon will result in a moderate to high rip current risk for all Panhandle, Big Bend and East Coast beaches.
- Low humidity values combined with hot temperatures and winds of around 5-15 mph will continue a moderate wildfire threat
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 11.17 feet, which is 2.02 feet below normal for this time of year and 0.52 feet above the water shortage management level.
- There are no areas of possible tropical development in the Atlantic.
