Meteorological Summary:
  • Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across South Florida and the Keys.
  • A couple isolated strong storms are possible with heavy downpours and gusty winds.
  • There is a moderate to high rip current risk along all East Coast beaches.
  • The wildfire threat across the state remains low.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 11.28 feet, which is 2.02 feet below normal for this time of year
