Summary: 1,700 gallons of High Fructose Corn Syrup spilled from a silo at the Coca-Cola facility in Jacksonville. An estimated 200 gallons flowed into a storm drain. Employees were able to stop the release and contain the spill. A private contractor has been hired to complete the clean-up.

Summary: Potential release of a medical grade radioisotope reported in the Orlando area due to a traffic crash. One person reported with minor injuries due to the crash only. All lanes of east Colonial Drive were closed at SR-417 for about two hours. It was later determined the vehicle held three containers of a medical grade radioactive material. The containers were undamaged. The containers were secured and the roadway cleared.
