Meteorological Summary:
- Strong to severe thunderstorms likely for all the state east of Tallahassee—Enhanced Risk for eastern Big Bend, Northeast Florida, and Nature Coast; Slight Risk for Central Florida; Marginal for South Florida.
- Damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are possible with any severe thunderstorms.
- The line of storms will move through Northeast Florida later this morning into the afternoon, Central Florida this afternoon and evening, and South Florida this evening into tonight.
- Windy conditions are expected outside of thunderstorms.
- Minor coastal flooding is possible in the Big Bend and West Coast.
- High rip current risk expected for nearly all Florida beaches.
- Moderate wildfire threat for the Peninsula with a low threat in the Panhandle.
