Meteorological Summary:
  • Scattered to numerous showers with isolated thunderstorms will be possible across North Florida.
  • A few isolated showers are possible in the Peninsula.
  • Cooler air will begin moving into North Florida today and tonight.
  • There is a moderate to high rip current risk for Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
  • There is a moderate wildfire threat across the Peninsula.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.28 feet, which is 2.17 feet below normal for this time of year.
