Meteorological Summary:
  • Isolated showers will be possible in South Florida, the Keys, and the western Panhandle today.
  • Rain chances increase and a few thunderstorms will be possible tonight in the Panhandle.
  • Areas of fog, locally dense, may develop across North Florida tonight.
  • There is a moderate to high rip current risk for all Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
  • There is a moderate wildfire threat for the Peninsula today and low in the Panhandle.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.33 feet, which is 2.13 feet below normal for this time of year.
