Meteorological Summary:
- Low clouds and patchy fog linger across North Florida into this afternoon. More sunshine with isolated showers in the Peninsula.
- Another day of record high temperatures across the Florida Peninsula (mid-80s to 90 degrees).
- Rain chances increase overnight in the Panhandle and Big Bend (scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm).
- No severe weather or flood threat today or tonight.
- There is a moderate to high rip current risk for all Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
- A River Flood Warning remains in effect for the Santa Fe River near Three Rivers Estates into early next week.
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.85 feet, which is 1.72 below normal for this time of year.
