Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report

EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring

Meteorological Summary:

Scattered showers will affect North Florida today as a weak cold front moves through.
Temperatures remain much above normal in the Peninsula today, but will be about 10 degrees cooler than previous days in Northwest Florida.
Breezy northeast winds develop this afternoon and into tonight, especially across Northeast and East Central Florida.
There is a moderate rip current risk for Panhandle beaches and along the Space and Treasure Coast.
A River Flood Warning remains in effect for the Santa Fe River near Three Rivers Estates.
Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.83 feet, which is 1.74 below normal for this time of year.
