Meteorological Summary:
- Scattered showers will affect North Florida today as a weak cold front moves through.
- Temperatures remain much above normal in the Peninsula today, but will be about 10 degrees cooler than previous days in Northwest Florida.
- Breezy northeast winds develop this afternoon and into tonight, especially across Northeast and East Central Florida.
- There is a moderate rip current risk for Panhandle beaches and along the Space and Treasure Coast.
- A River Flood Warning remains in effect for the Santa Fe River near Three Rivers Estates.
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.83 feet, which is 1.74 below normal for this time of year.
