Meteorological Summary:
- High pressure in control- sunny and dry statewide today.
- An isolated shower (10%) will be possible along the East Coast from Cape Canaveral to the south this evening and tonight.
- Breezy northeast winds today and tonight at 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph along the East Coast.
- Temperatures will remain above freezing tonight as temperatures begin to rebound.
- There is an elevated rip current risk at nearly all Florida beaches today.
- There remains a moderate to high wildfire threat for the state today due to breezy winds and low humidity.
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.28 feet, which is 2.43 feet below normal for this time of year.
