Meteorological Summary:
  • Scattered showers are possible today and tonight across North Florida, with isolated showers possible in the Peninsula.
  • There is a moderate to high risk of rip currents for all Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
  • River Flood Warnings continue for portions of the Apalachicola, Suwannee, and Santa Fe Rivers.
  • There is a moderate wildfire threat for South Florida today.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.46 feet, which is 2.26 feet below normal for this time of year.
