Meteorological Summary:
  • Abundant sunshine, breezy winds, and cool temperatures are expected statewide.
  • Widespread frost and freeze conditions are expected across North Florida tonight.
  • There is a moderate risk of rip currents along some Panhandle beaches and a high risk along some West Coast beaches.
  • Minor to moderate river flooding continues along several North Florida rivers.
  • Dry fuels, low humidity, and breezy winds will contribute to a high wildfire threat in South Florida.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.52 feet, which is 2.22 feet below normal for this time of year.
