Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report

EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring 
 
Meteorological Summary: 
  • Weather conditions will be similar to Saturday statewide.
  • Isolated coastal showers possible along the East Coast with more frequent shower activity in the Keys. No thunderstorms are expected.
  • Warmer temperatures combined with dry soils and slightly higher winds will contribute to a moderate threat of wildfires today across portions of Central and South Florida.
  • Moderate risk of rip currents for all Atlantic beaches and most Panhandle beaches today.
  • A River Flood Warning continues for the Apalachicola River.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 13.37 feet, which is 1.57 feet below normal for this time of year.
