Meteorological Summary:
- Feeling like fall today across North Florida- humidity is low and temperatures will only reach the upper 70s and lower 80s.
- Overnight lows will fall into the middle to upper 50s across interior North Florida and the lower 60s near the coast.
- The cold front is dissipating across South Florida, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are still expected today south of Lake Okeechobee.
- Waves of 2-4’ and ocean swells will result in a moderate risk of rip currents at most Atlantic Coast beaches and a high risk of rip currents at Panhandle beaches.
- River Flood Warnings are in effect for 3 Panhandle and Big Bend rivers- but significant river flooding is also ongoing along Econfina Creek in Bay County.
- Michael is now post-tropical and the last advisory has been issued. Hurricane Leslie and Tropical Storm Nadine not a threat to Florida.
