STMS is Live and Ready for You
Florida Department of Children and Families sent this bulletin at 05/27/2020 11:26 AM EDT
Hello DCF Team:
This email serves as a friendly reminder that the new Statewide Travel Management System (STMS) is live and ready for use! If there are any travel reimbursement requests that have not been previously submitted at this time, we strongly encourage submission via the Statewide Travel Management System. Any travel reimbursement forms submitted after Tuesday, May 26, 2020, will be returned to the traveler for submission through STMS.
Attached is a Quick Reference Guide that provides basic instructions for logging into the travel system and creating a trip form, and there are special instructions provided at the end of the guide for submitting mileage requests for continuous travel (i.e. CPI/API travel). You may access the Statewide Travel Management System at https://flstms.my.salesforce.com/.
The STMS Team will continue hosting a daily Microsoft Teams meeting from 9:00am – 10:00am Eastern Time. If you have watched the appropriate training tutorials and have questions or need clarification, please join the meeting during the allotted time to chat with the team. On Thursday, May 28th and Tuesday, June 2nd, the STMS Agency Administrator will conduct a live walk-through demonstration of creating and submitting a trip form. Thursday’s demonstration will focus on overnight travel, while Tuesday’s will be dedicated to continuous (daily) travel. You may join the Teams meeting at the following link: MS Teams Meeting Link. You may also submit questions to the STMS Agency Administrator at HQW.STMS.Administrator@myflfamilies.com.
To Do:
- Watch the training tutorials provided by DMS for your respective role(s)
- Review the User Listing spreadsheet to ensure access has been given if required
- View the Quick Reference Guide for login instructions
- Ensure that Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is installed for use with STMS
- View the DCF STMS Webpage for updates and previous correspondence
REMINDER – Approvers
Please log-in to the system and set up a Delegate Approver as soon as possible. The Delegate Approver will have the ability to approve trip forms in the event of your absence. Please note that the system will not notify the delegate that a form is queued for approval, so be sure to communicate your intended absences with your assigned delegate.
Instructions for Assigning a Delegate Approver can be found on page 89 of the STMS User Manual.
