Clearwater Beach Marina
Construction plans have been submitted to city's Planning & Development Department for review and comments, before being presented to the Community Development Board. The start date for the project is anticipated to be sometime in the late first quarter or early second quarter of 2024. The project involves demolition of all docks and the seawall and dredging of the basin.
We are working to secure a fueling contract, so we can continue to provide fuel after the fuel dock is removed and while the new fuel docks are being constructed. The project will be staged to allow for the commercial fleet to remain in operation. Unfortunately, the scope and scale of the project provide us no ability to retain the recreational fleet during this project. A timeline of when the recreational fleet must vacate will be provided as we get a more definitive project start date.
Although the design concept is subject to modifications, the rendering above shows the approximate locations for the planned kiosk at the west end of the marina.

Clearwater Harbor Marina
Coachman Park is officially open, along with the parking lot at the west end of Pierce Street. The new Dockmaster's office is inside Coachman Park and is more centrally located between the north and south basins.
Bathrooms with showers and washer and dryers are available to transient and permanent tenants with their 24 hours Prox card access.
The office is staffed by our Marine Facility Operators from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

Wave Attenuator Delivery
The wave attenuators have been delivered and are temporarily being stored in the slips along B Dock. Replacement of the three failed attenuators at the southwest corner of the South Basin should take place in December 2023.

VizPin is being replaced with Prox Cards
We will be switching over our gate access control to the new Axis card reader system within the next few weeks. The Dockmaster’s office at the Harbor Marina has already been switched over to the new Axis card reader system.
Be sure to stop by the NEW Dockmaster’s office, now located at 206 Pierce Street, to pick up your two cards. The two cards will only be issued to the license agreement/permit holder. The Dockmaster’s Office is open Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Replacements for lost/stolen cards will be available for a fee.
Until we complete the change over to Prox cards, VizPin will be needed to enter the gates and the Prox card will be used to access the bathrooms at the Dockmaster’s Office. Once the change is complete, VizPin will be disabled and your Prox card will work to access all gates and facilities.

Waterway Management
We hope to install the Stevenson’s Creek Slow Speed Zone sometime in August. We have our permits and are waiting for the final authorization from the Coast Guard.
We have a contractor selected and will initiate the installation of six pilings and regulatory signage upon receipt of that authorization.

Ice Machine at Clearwater Beach Marina
An ice vending machine is now up and running at the Clearwater Beach Marina fuel docks.
The cost is $3.25 for 10 lbs. of bulk ice that discharges directly into your cooler, or $3.25 for 10 lbs. of bagged ice. The machine also dispenses fresh filtered water for $.50 cents a gallon. All transactions are completed by credit card at the machine.
A second ice vending machine is being planned for the Clearwater Harbor Marina. We will provide updates when this ice machine is installed.

Dockwa for Slip Billing
We went live with Dockwa for slip billing as of July 1 and for the Fuel Dock as of July 6.
If you have not yet done so, be sure to access your account via the link in the emails that Dockwa has been sending out – if you have yet to receive an email from them, contact the office at (727) 562-4955, option 2.
We are also more than happy to receive any feedback that you may have on the new system. Thank you for working with us during this transitionary period.
