ALERT & PUBLIC MEETING: Connective, two-lane roadway coming to Fleming Island

The public is welcome to learn more about a new roadway connection coming to Fleming Island at a public meeting in March.

Crews in Fleming Island will begin constructing a new two-lane roadway, designed to extend Radar Road to Town Center Boulevard at the current traffic circle, in late summer 2025.

Once complete, this project will connect U.S. 17 to Town Center Boulevard and include bike lanes, curbs and gutters, and drainage features.

The county is also hosting a public meeting for residents to learn more about the project, on Monday, March 10 at 4 PM at the Fleming Island Library (located at 1895 Town Center Boulevard, Fleming Island, Florida 32003). Attendees will hear presentations from the design firm and County staff.
