Thank you to all that participated in the 2023 Summer Reading Program! Throughout June and July, participants across the county read a combined total of about 400,000 minutes. We had over 10,000 participants in the events and activities offered in the library branches!

Get ready for back to school with Clay County Fire Rescue! We will read a story and Firefighters from CCFR will help educate children and parents about safety as we head back to school. We will talk about traveling safely to and from school while walking, riding a bike, and traveling by car, as well as being aware of the dangers of overheating during this hot time of year.
Do you like ice cream? Do you know how ice cream is made? Come learn with us the science behind ice cream. We will learn how this delicious treat is made so maybe you can make it at home!
Hey, homeschoolers! Join us for a special program that provides kids with an opportunity to socialize, have fun, and enjoy all of the library's great resources.
Imagine, Design, Create! Join us at the library where your school age child can flex their creative muscles through a variety of art concepts and media.
Be a SmARTie! is a program led by UF/IFAS Extension to encourage art-literacy for children grades K-5. Art activities are some of the best ways to promote literacy and provide children with authentic self-expression. Each session will include a story, short lesson, and art project.
Is your child ready for a PAWsitive reading experience? Come to the library and read to a certified therapy dog. We have partnered with Clay Humane and their therapy dog teams to offer this special program to provide a comforting and judgement free reading experience.
Explore, Experiment, Learn! Join us at the library where your school age child can have fun while exploring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts through engaging hands on activities.
Stories, songs, rhymes, games, and crafts! Develop school readiness skills and engage your child's growing imagination. Designed for 3-5 year olds or those interested in school readiness skills.
Listen, Rhyme, Sing! Join us for stories, songs, and rhymes that explore early literacy skills. Designed for children 5 years old and under who enjoy picture books, music, and play.
Imagine, Create, Play! Bring your little ones for a fun time of creation and pretend play. Your child will develop their imaginations through a variety of art concepts and media.
