 DCOA provided information on programs and services
to participants at the Broccoli City Festival 2014 held at the St.
Elizabeths Pavillion. The festival which celebrates Earth Day featured
art, music, food and various pop-up shops. The event is held annually to
help cultivate innovative strategies on living healthier and more sustainable
lifestyles, while empowering communities to make informed decisions
about their health and environment.

The Center for Brain Health presents the inaugural Brain Health Summit, The Human Brain: Resilience and Regeneration, on Monday, April 28, 2014, in Washington, D.C.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Education and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will discuss solutions to our most pressing brain related issues.
Panel discussions and keynote presentations will focus on innovative research advances, awareness efforts and practical application to promote brain health fitness for all ages and stages including students, healthy aging adults, athletes and military service members.

Regat
is a pioneering and driven professional with nine years of progressive
experience in Accounting and Human Resources. As a Resource Allocation
Analyst, Regat will
be working closely with the Resource Allocation Officer on budgets,
grantee payments, mentoring agency dashboard, analyzing expenditure
patterns and suggesting realignment of funds when necessary, as well as
work with program analysts on Notice of Grant Awards,
and grantees’ budgets to ensure accuracy.
