Correction: FY24 ESEA Carryover Funds and Budget Amendments
The April 17 Division of Strategic Funding for School Quality (FSQ) Grants Newsletter contained an announcement stating that local education agencies (LEAs) could access their fiscal year 2024 (FY24) carryover funds on Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Titles I-A, II-A, III-A and IV-A grants via their FY25 ESEA Consolidated Applications (ConApp).
This was issued in error. FY24 ESEA carryover funds are not yet available in the Enterprise Grants Management System (EGMS), and no action is required at this time; the May 31 deadline for amendments does not apply.
When carryover funds are available in EGMS, we will provide updated guidance and timelines in an upcoming newsletter.
For questions or additional information about ESEA, please contact the team at Con.App@dc.gov.
