April is National Donate Life Month
In recognition of National Donate Life Month, DC DMV encourages all District residents to register and become an organ donor. Currently, approximately 4,200 people in the DC metropolitan area are waiting for a lifesaving transplant (out of a total 104,000 individuals in the United States).
DC DMV has a close working relationship with Infinite Legacy and Donate Life DC, and we understand the powerful impact organ donation has on District residents and their families.
Team DMV is committed to raising awareness, educating the public on facts specific to organ donations and registering donors year-round so we can save more lives. At any DC DMV Service Center, ask a representative about organ donation and become a lifesaver today. 💚💙
