Season’s Greetings!
As we close out 2022, the team at the Office of Planning is proud of what we have accomplished this year. A few highlights include supporting the expansion of Black Homeownership in the District, making Land Use and Zoning Reforms for Housing Equity and completing the first Small Area Plans under the 2021 Comprehensive Plan in Chevy Chase, Congress Heights, and along Pennsylvania Ave East. Through this work, we continue to plan for a more equitable and resilient DC that will stand up against the challenges we face today and seize on future opportunities to thrive. This important work will continue in the new year, and we are excited for what 2023 holds for all of us and our city.
I encourage you to visit together.dc.gov to learn more about the transition team who will be collecting your big ideas on our biggest challenges in the District and helping Mayor Bowser set priorities as she begins her third term as Mayor of Washington, DC.
On behalf of Team OP, I wish you all a safe and wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year!
Sincerely,
Anita Cozart
