Temporary Lane Closures for the Rehabilitation of 16th Street Bridge over Piney Branch Parkway NW Project From Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29, 2022

Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT)

anticipates the implementation of the following temporary lane closures on the Piney Branch Parkway, NW (from Arkansas Avenue, NW to Beech Drive) and on the 16^th Street Bridge, as part of the on-going 16^th Street Bridge rehabilitation work, beginning on Monday, July 25, 2022, and to last through Friday, July 29, 2022, weather permitting to necessitate the following:

Monday 7/25 through Friday 7/29

Closures on Piney Branch are related to the Rock Creek Trail project.

Monday 7/25 through Friday 7/29

16th Street
Ongoing Phase 1 – 2 Lanes closed on bridge
Ongoing East Sidewalk Detour across bridge
Pedestrian are advised to use the West Sidewalk for north-south access across the bridge

Motorists are urged to obey traffic advisory instructions and use caution as they travel in these areas, to anticipate moderate delays, and to be mindful of construction personnel.
