Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes and shoulders on the following roadways to perform bridge inspections.
Q Street, N.W. over Rock Creek and Rock Creek Parkway, right lane closure/lane shift of Westbound Q Street, N.W. over Rock Creek and Rock Creek Parkway on Wednesday July 26th, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Ramp from Northbound I-395 Center Leg to D Street, N.W., under Constitution Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., Independence Ave., Washington Ave., and Maryland Ave., right lane closure of the Ramp from Northbound I-395 Center Leg to D Street, N.W., under Constitution Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., Independence Ave., Washington Ave., and Maryland Ave. on Friday, July 29th, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Southbound I-395 Center Leg under D Street, N.W., Constitution Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., Independence Ave., Washington Ave., and Maryland Ave. left lane closure of the Southbound I-395 Center Leg under D Street, N.W., Constitution Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., Independence Ave., Washington Ave., and Maryland Ave. on Friday, July 29th, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
K Street NW between 25th Street NW and 29th Street NW – Single Lane closures will be in place for eastbound and westbound traffic on K Street NW between 25th Street NW and 29th Street NW.Work is scheduled to take place during daytime off-peak hours (9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) starting Monday, July 25, extending weekdays through Friday, July 29, 2022, weather permitting.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
