Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations for Routine Bridge and Tunnel Inspections from June 5 Through June 16, 2022
Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Virginia Ave under 23rd Street (10) Sunday, eastbound and westbound on June 5th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
12th Street North Tunnel (172N) alternating left lanes and right lanes closures on Monday, northbound June 6th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
9th Street Tunnel (173) alternating left lanes and right lanes closures on Tuesday, southbound June 7th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Barney Circle Ramp (1409) alternating left lane and right lane closures on Sunday, westbound on June 12th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Barney Circle (1410) closures of eastbound on June 13th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Barney Circle (1410) closures of eastbound and alternating to westbound on June 14th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Barney Circle (1410) closures of westbound on June 15th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate lite-to-moderate delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
