Temporary Ramp Closures on East Capitol Street Bridge Through April 28, 2022
DDOT Traffic Advisory: Closure of Ramp from eastbound East Capitol Street Bridge to southbound DC-295, April 27, 2022 (Night Work)
Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) continues roadwork along I-295/DC-295 and will close the ramp from the eastbound East Capitol Street (Whitney Young Memorial) Bridge to southbound DC-295 for road work beginning April 27, 2022, weather permitting.
The roadwork will occur Wednesday night – Thursday morning, April 27-28, 2022, 8pm-5am, weather permitting. Traffic will be advised to proceed to Nannie H. Burroughs Avenue to access southbound DC-295.
Periodic lane closures will be required for equipment mobilization and loop/piezo sensors installations associated with this location as part of multiple DDOT improvement projects along the I-295/DC 295 corridor.
