Temporary Lane Closures for Routine Inspections Streetlight Inspections from March 21 through March 24, 2022
(Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Potomac Parkway, N.W. under T. Roosevelt Bridge/I-66, alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound Potomac Parkway, N.W. under the T. Roosevelt Bridge/ I-66 followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Southbound Potomac Parkway, N.W. under the T. Roosevelt Bridge/ I-66 on Monday, March 21st, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
E Street Expressway/I-66 under Virginia Avenue, New Hampshire Avenue and 25th Street, N.W., alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound E Street Expressway/I-66 under Virginia Avenue, New Hampshire Avenue and 25th Street, N.W. followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Southbound E Street Expressway/I-66 under Virginia Avenue, New Hampshire Avenue and 25th Street, N.W. on Tuesday, March 22nd, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
14th Street S.W. over Ohio Drive, S.W., Outlet Channel, and Maine Avenue, S.W., alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound 14th Street S.W. over Ohio Drive, S.W., Outlet Channel, and Maine Avenue, S.W followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Southbound 14th Street S.W. over Ohio Drive, S.W., Outlet Channel, and Maine Avenue, S.W on Thursday, March 24th, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
