Temporary Lane Closures off I-395 from March 7 through March 11, 2022
(Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be making repairs to pavement along I-395 at the 2nd street (NB) exit beginning Monday March 7, 2022, weather permitting.
To conduct this work safely there will be a lane closure to accommodate pavement repair activity to a portion of the I-395 highway 2nd Street exit portal to Massachusetts Ave NW.
This repair work will continue for one week, March 7 to March 11, 2022.
Motorists should anticipate delays during the first 5-7 days due to lane closures on the ramp from 9:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. while the contractor is performing pavement repairs.
Travel lanes will be reduced to one lane. Motorists can anticipate the following traffic impacts starting on or about March 7, 2022:
The northbound off-ramp at 2nd Street, NW, will be reduced to one lane.
Traffic controls will be in place to guide all users of the roadway through the work zones safely. Motorists should expect delays due to the lane closures and are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and road work crews while traveling in this area.
