Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations from February 14 through February 18, 2022
(Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
9th Street, N.E. over Amtrak, CSX, and New York Avenue, right lane closure of Northbound 9th Street, N.E., over Amtrak, CSX, WMATA and New York Avenue followed by a right lane closure of Southbound 9th Street, N.E., over Amtrak, CSX, WMATA and New York Avenue on Monday, February 14th and Tuesday, February 15th, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
North Capitol Street under Marshall Drive, right lane closure of Northbound North Capitol Street under Marshall Drive followed by a right lane closure of Southbound North Capitol Street under Marshall Drive on Wednesday, February 16th, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Roosevelt Bridge over the Potomac River and Potomac Parkway, N.W., right lane closure of Eastbound I-66 over the Potomac River and Potomac Parkway, N.W. followed by a right lane closure of Westbound I-66 over the Potomac River and Potomac Parkway, N.W. on Thursday, February 17thand Friday, February 18th, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
