Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations For Bridge and Tunnel Inspections from February 7 through February 11, 2022

(Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

Anacostia Freeway (I-295) over Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E., alternating right and left lane closures of Anacostia Freeway (I-295) Eastbound over Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E. followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Anacostia Freeway (I-295) Westbound over Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E. on Monday, February 7, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting.

Entrance Ramp from 9^th Street Expressway to I-395 Westbound under the Ramp to 12^th Street Expressway, alternating right and left narrowing/partial lane closures of the entrance ramp from 9^th Street Expressway to I-395 Westbound under the ramp to 12^th Street Expressway on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting.

Entrance Ramp from Maine Avenue S.W. to I-395 Eastbound under I-395 Westbound and the Ramp to 12^th Street Expressway, alternating right and left lane closures of the entrance ramp from Maine Avenue S.W. to I-395 Eastbound under I-395 Westbound and the ramp to 12^th Street Expressway on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting.

Eastbound I-395 Ramp under Southwest Freeway, S.W., alternating right and left lane closures of Eastbound I-395 Ramp under Southwest Freeway, S.W. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting.

Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E. under Anacostia Freeway (I-295), alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E. under Anacostia Freeway (I-295) followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Southbound Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E. under Anacostia Freeway (I-295) on Friday, February 11, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
