Temporary Lane Closure of Northbound DC-295 Right Lane and Northbound Kenilworth Avenue NE from December 14 through 23, 2021
(Washington, D.C.) -The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) continues roadwork along northbound and southbound Kenilworth Avenue and will close the following for milling and paving operations:
- Northbound DC-295 Right Lane from Nannie H. Burroughs Ave. to Eastern Ave., N.E.
- Northbound DC-295 Ramps to Polk St., N.E and Eastern Ave., N.E. (short-term/periodic)
- Northbound Kenilworth Ave. from Nannie H. Burroughs Ave. to Polk St., N.E. (short-term/periodic)
- Northbound Kenilworth Ave. Ramps to DC-295 at Lane Pl. and Polk St., N.E. (short-term/periodic)
The roadwork will begin Tues., Dec. 14, 2021 through Thurs., Dec. 23, 2021 from 7AM-2PM daily, weather permitting.
Periodic lane closures will be required for equipment mobilization, utility upgrades, and pavement work, including guardrail installations associated with this location as part of multiple DDOT improvement projects along the I-295/DC 295 corridor.
