Temporary Lane Closure for Drilling Operations Anacostia Avenue NE Bridge Through December 8, 2021
(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT)
s advising all stakeholders to expect temporary single lane closures on Bridge #78 Anacostia Avenue NE extending through December 8, 2021, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
Roadway users should expect short interruptions to two-way traffic. Travel lanes will be tapered as necessary to allow for the safe channelizing of traffic.
Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians safely through the work zone. All users of the roadway are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and work zones while traveling in this area.
