Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations from November 22 through November 23, 2021
(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadways for bridge preventive maintenance construction activities beginning November 22nd through November 23rd, 2021, weather permitting.
Operation hours and locations are listed below:
Inbound Theodore Bridge to E Street, BR. 1203- single lane closures needed inbound on TR Bridge to E Street. Proper variable message board will be in place to notify the public of changes. Lane closure will be between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.
Inbound Theodore Bridge to Constitution Avenue, BR. 1204- single lane closures needed inbound on TR Bridge to Constitution Ave. Proper variable message board will be in place to notify the public of changes. Lane closure will be between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.
Whitehurst Freeway (from Key Bridge to K Street), BR.1303- single lane closures needed on Whitehurst Freeway traveling to K Street. Proper variable message board will be in place to notify the public of changes. Lane closure will be between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
