Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge and Tunnel on October 15, 2021

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections beginning on October 15 2021, weather permitting. This is a one site- one day activity.

Southbound South Capitol Street under Anacostia Freeway, alternating left and right lane closures of Southbound South Capitol Street under Anacostia Freeway on Friday, October 15, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
