Temporary Lane and Ramp Closure for Routine Bridge Inspection at Roosevelt Bridge/I-66 on October 7 and 8, 2021

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

 

Roosevelt Bridge/I-66 over Little River and George Washington Parkway; and Ramp from Arlington Boulevard Eastbound to I-66 Eastbound over Little River and George Washington Parkway, a right lane closure of Eastbound I-66 over the Little River and George Washington Parkway followed by a right lane closure of Westbound I-66 over the Little River and George Washington Parkway followed by a narrowing of the ramp from Arlington Boulevard Eastbound to I-66 Eastbound over Little River and George Washington on Thursday, October 7 and Friday, October 8, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

 

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas.  Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.  Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
