Temporary Closures of Southbound Kenilworth Ave Ramps and Southbound DC-295 Right Lane between Nannie H. Burroughs Avenue & Eastern Avenue NE from September 21 through October 1, 2021

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) continues roadwork along northbound and southbound Kenilworth Avenue and will close the following:

Southbound Kenilworth Avenue Off-Ramp to Southbound DC-295 @ 44^th Street, N.E.
Southbound DC-295 On-ramp to Southbound Kenilworth Avenue @ Ord Street, N.E.
Southbound Right lane of DC-295 between Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave. NE and Eastern Ave., N.E.

The roadwork will begin Tuesday, September 21, 2021 and the closures will occur periodically through Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10AM-5PM daily, weather permitting.

Periodic lane closures will be required for equipment mobilization, utility upgrades, and pavement work, including guardrail installations associated with this location as part of multiple DDOT improvement projects along the I-295/DC 295 corridor.
