Temporary Lane Closures on I-295 Northbound from September 16 through September 18, 2021

 

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadway to perform construction activities along the I-295/DC 295 corridor starting from September 16^th to September 18^th 2021, weather permitting. 

The specific lanes and closure hours are listed below:

• Single lane closure on I-295 northbound between Nannie Helen Ave NE and Benning Road NE starting at 9:30am to 2:30pm from September 16^th to September 18^th

 

All traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane is closure. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
