DC Streetcar Operator Training Overnight from September 7 through September 9, 2021

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will conduct DC Streetcar training exercises for new operators on September 8 and September 9 between 12:30 am and 4:00 am, before revenue service begins. Two Streetcars will each make three round trips between Oklahoma Avenue and Union Station. Residents and stakeholders in the corridor should expect noises and sounds associated with normal DC Streetcar operations. The DC Streetcar will not be in service for these trips, but will resume normal operations at 6:00 am, each day.

For more information about DDOT’s Streetcar, service alerts are available on Twitter and Instagram @DCStreetcar and #DCSAlerts), as well as on the DC Streetcar website
