Temporary Lane Closures near I-295 and Malcolm X Avenue SE on September 10, 2021 for Routine Bridge Inspections 

 

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

 

Malcom X Avenue under I-295 Ramp C at Malcolm X Interchange, a right lane closure of Eastbound Malcom X Avenue under I-295 Ramp C at Malcolm X Interchange followed by a right lane closure of Westbound Malcom X Avenue under I-295 Ramp C at Malcolm X Interchange on Friday, September 10, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas.  Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.  Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
