DDOT TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Lane Closures on I-295 Northbound from August 23 through August 28, 2021

Temporary Lane Closures on I-295 Northbound from August 23 through August 28, 2021

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadway to perform construction activities along the I-295/DC 295 corridor starting from August 23^rd to August 28^th, 2021, weather permitting.

The specific lanes and closure hours are listed below:

Single lane closure on I-295 northbound road between Nannie Helen Ave NE and Benning Road NE starting at 9:00am to 5:00pm from August 23^rd to August 28^th

All traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane is closure. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
