Temporary Lane Closures on I-295 Southbound between South Capitol Street SW and Chesapeake Street SW from July 6 through July 10, 2021

                   

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the southbound left lane on I-295 between South Capitol St., SW and Chesapeake St., SW for roadwork beginning July 6 through July 10 2021, weather permitting.

 

The roadwork will begin Tuesday, July 6, 2021 and continue through Friday, July 9, 2021 from 7AM-2PM daily, and Saturday, July 10 from 7AM-5PM, weather permitting.

 

Periodic lane closures will be required for equipment mobilization, utility upgrades, and pavement work, including guardrail installations associated with this location as part of multiple DDOT improvement projects along the I-295/DC 295 corridor.
