DDOT TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Closures on I-295 Southbound Service Road from June 12 through June 15, 2021

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close a lane on the following roadway to perform construction activities along the I-295/DC 295 corridor starting from June 12 to June 15, 2021, weather permitting. 

The specific lanes and closure hours are listed below:

• Single lane closure on I-295 southbound service road between Nannie Helen Ave NE and Benning Road NE starting at 9:30am to 3:30pm on June 12^th
• Single lane closure on I-295 southbound service road between Nannie Helen Ave NE and Benning Road NE starting at 9:30am to 3:30pm from June 14^th to June 15^th 

All traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane is closure. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
