Employee Vaccination Clinic
Dear Employee:
Don’t forget, we have an employee vaccination clinic event coming up this week!
We want to invite you and your family to a dedicated DC Government employee vaccine drive at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001). The event will be:
Thursday, May 20 – 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
If you are a DC Government employee (and that includes full-time, part-time, and contractors) come get vaccinated, and bring your family members who still aren’t vaccinated to get the shot as well! The event is walk-up, no appointment necessary. DC Health and team will be onsite providing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, so no follow-up appointment will be required either.
As a reminder, all DC Government employees are eligible for two (2) hours of Administrative Leave to get the shot.
To make it even easier to get there, we have transit assistance options!

And if these dates and time just don’t work for you, you always have access to the 11 public walk-up sites throughout the city, as well as nearby pharmacies and clinics where you can make an appointment. Our public walk-up sites will offer the vaccine to DC Government employees, contractors and their families regardless of your place of residence. As a reminder, children over 12 can begin getting vaccinated at walk-up sites, hospitals, health centers, and pharmacies across DC that administer the Pfizer vaccine. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are authorized for use in individuals 18 years of age and older.
It takes all of us to beat this virus. And there is no better way to do that than getting vaccinated. Let’s step up to protect our community, our loved ones, and just as important, ourselves.
