DDOT TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Closures for Streetlight Inspections from May 6 through May 14, 2021

Temporary Closures for Streetlight Inspections from May 6 through May 14, 2021

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for streetlight inspections beginning May 6 through May 14, 2021, weather permitting.

Operational hours will begin after am rush hours 10:00 am and conclude daily at 3:00pm.

Inspections locations are defined below:

Road closure at entrance to 9^th Street Expressway, SW from D Street, SW;
Ramp closure from 9th Street expressway SW that connects to I-395 Northbound SW
Left lane closure on I-395 Northbound from 9^th Street Expressway SW to approximately between 7^th Street SW and 6^th Street SW

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
