Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge Repairs at Irving Street under North Capitol St NE from April 27 through May 1, 2021
(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will continue bridge preservation and repair activities at Irving Street under North Capitol St NE from April 27 through May 1, 2021, weather permitting.
The contractor will close one lane eastbound. The lane closures will take place after the morning rush hour from 9:30 am and the lanes will be open at the start of the evening rush hour at 3:30 each day.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
