DDOT TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Road, Ramp, and Lane Closures for Streetlight Inspections Starting April 30, 2021

Temporary Road, Ramp, and Lane Closures for Streetlight Inspections Starting April 30, 2021

(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for streetlight inspections from April 30 through May 4, 2021, weather permitting.

Operational hours will begin after 10:00 am and conclude daily at 3:00pm.

Inspections locations are the following:

Road closure at entrance to 9^th Street Expressway SW from D Street SW
Ramp closure from 9th Street Expressway SW that connects to I-395 Northbound, SW
Left lane closure on I-395 Northbound from 9^th Street Expressway SW to approximately between 7^th Street SW and 6^th Street SW

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
