Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge and Tunnel Inspections on April 21, 2021
(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Ramp that connects Northbound Center Leg (I-395) to Massachusetts Ave, N.W. via 2nd Street, N.W. under E Street, N.W., and Northbound Center Leg (I-395) under the E Street, N.W., and Southbound Center Leg (I-395) under E Street, N.W., right lane closure of the ramp which connects Northbound Center Leg (I-395) to Massachusetts Ave N.W. via 2nd Street N.W. under E Street, N.W., followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound Center Leg (I-395) under E Street, N.W., followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Southbound Center Leg (I-395) under E Street, N.W. on April 21 2021,weather permitting.
The operational hours on Wednesday, April 21 2021 will be from 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
